One of the funnest little mysteries that I've read in awhile. When Toni won a trip for being top seller of the Lady Bianca Cosmetic line, she couldn't have been happier. She took her mother and daughter with her. A cruise on the Duchess of the Caribbean Cruise Lines was just the kind of reward she wanted.The Cruise line offered everything from spa treatment to line dancing and everything in between. While out participating in all this, Toni and her mother, Linda, were also subtly scouting out possible customers and future sales people. Things just weren't cooperating with them. The norovirus causes problems. Other things crop up as well.
Toni is a lot like Jessica Fletcher when she investigates. You can follow the mystery, but it doesn't get explained until the end. There were a lot of angles to this mystery that lead you in several directions. There is no end to the 'possible suspects'. I was unable to guess who did it and was surprised at the outcome.
There is a lot of humor and plenty of fun characters to keep you turning the pages until the end. You won't be disappointed with this one.

Loved it! Toni is on another great adventure sticking her nose in everywhere. From Botox to drugs, murder, mysterious men and obnoxious brides the trip is a wild adventure. Of course she is sharing her talent with makeup.. Even convinced me to try a new eyeshadow. Could not put down! More.... Please!!!
Love the characters in these books. So many funny parts to all these books. I love stories that are mysteries, but have humor to them.
I read the first book and was hooked, finished the second followed up by this last book. I really enjoyed reading the Toni Diamond series. Nancy Warren got me to fall in love with the character's and mystery books that get ya to laugh, be shocked and want to rattle your brain trying to figure the mystery out! So much fun. Nancy Warren is an amazing writer, I look forward to reading more of her books now.
I thought this was more of an advertisement for cruising than an actual mystery. I really liked the first one and wanted to like 2 and 3. but this book didnt even have a mystery until 80% through like it was an after thought, "oh yea, I am writing a mystery, better fit that in before the end". And no make up tips.
I thoroughly enjoy this series. Toni Diamond is the perfect de-stresser. She's a perfect escape when you just need to get away. Nancy Warren writes in a very easy going atyle that's interesting and easy to read. Her characters are developed and more importantly, believable. She gave me real insight into my "Mary Kay"experience.LOL My consultant is about to make a sale. Read this book for a relaxing,fun time. I can't wait for Toni's next adventure.
Another fun read from Nancy. I didn't find this one to have the laugh out loud parts that her other books have but it does have those cute parts that make you smile. It's a book I didn't want to put down once I started it. This one kept me guessing what was going to happen & who was going to die until at least the middle of the book. Then of course you have to keep reading to see how it ends. I did love the ending where Toni, her mother, & daughter show everyone else how to line dance in their true fashion. Can't wait until the next book comes out.
Book three had me wanting to take a cruise. This story takes place on a cruise they have won from selling Lady Bianca Cosmetics. During a cruise you wouldn't expect anything particular to take place however in the case of Toni Diamond, it seems trouble follows her and she just has to be in the middle finding out the answer. In this particular story you have multiple key characters in which you wouldn't initially think were related in any way however are very much related to each other. And after a virus causes many passengers to become sick, you have the perfect cover for committing a crime and not being suspected. So of course a crime does indeed take place and while Toni shouldn't get involved she just always happens to be in the right place at the right time and of course the one to put the pieces together. But in this story you start to think this might just be the end for her and she actually tried to stay out of it. And to find out if she actually saves the day or meets her fate, you can pick up your own copy to read.
